A polite reminder that classes only work well when they are full and paid for. Class prices are calculated taking in the consideration of many expenses including the hire of premises, insurance, how many people the room can hold, equipment required and your instructors qualifications etc. Your teacher does have a heart and feels bad for certain situations and circumstances but if half the class message the night before or on the day of the class asking to move or swap there is no point running the class. This information may seem logical but for many it needs reinforcing unfortunately. Your teacher reads your message feeling bad and thinks of 10 different ways of replying so they don’t offend you or discourage you from returning. They often stress about these situations for days trying not to come across harsh or uncaring. For many small businesses every penny counts and it’s their full time job not just a random class for extra pocket money. Please think of both sides of the situation when you can’t make your class.
