It has been an even quieter time on our little island the past few weeks as people stay at home with their immediate family. The Isle of Man is a quiet place compared to many places in the world but that’s one reason why I love it!

People are embracing technology to communicate with family and friends who may live only 5 minutes away. It’s incredible how easy remote connections are with our mobile devices. I have been training remotely on Zoom for a couple of years now and appreciate that I have been able to switch to becoming the teacher over the last few weeks.

It’s a time for reflection and a chance to focus on your home life and surroundings. It’s OK to feel however you feel and if you want to take some time for you and your body with a little instruction from me – you know where I am!

The Isle of Man is 32 miles long and, at its widest point, 14 miles wide. It has an area of around 221 square miles. The Pilates Room is in the capital, Douglas.
